What the Course Features
Each of ten sessions includes videos, supporting documents, review questions and a quiz. Most important of all, specific practicum assignments invite you to refine your skills and customize your experience to your local needs as you apply the strategies.
How to Take the Course
Consider three options for working through the course material:
1) Gather colleagues from your school and appoint an instructor or grade-level coach to lead the practicum assignments; or
2) Engage in the sessions alone, but work with a study partner on the practicum assignments; or
3) Study each session on your own and practice the strategies among your own students.
If you are new to education, ask friends, family, or neighborhood children to step in as your surrogate learners.
